If you’re worried about what to do with leftover of the amazing Mint Oreo Truffle Brownies (which I’m not sure why you would), have no fear. I have the perfect solution for you.
Have you ever had one of those Shamrock Shakes? You know, from that place that you aren’t supposed to admit to eating at?
Anyway, I used to get excited when I saw that it was Shamrock Shake time.
Then I grew up.
I’m not sure when the change took place, but I know that it had been several years since I had had one and I realized something very important. They’re not that great. They’re basically a vanilla shake with a lot of really sweet green syrupy stuff. We can do better, people. In terms of delicious minty, ice cream refreshment. We can do so much better.
That’s what I’ve done for you. I’ve made something so much better that there really isn’t a comparison. Except that they’re both appropriate for St. Patrick’s Day.
This is our version of a much much better shamrock shake, a Mint Oreo Brownie Shake. It puts the other one to shame. If you love mint, and brownies and Oreos, then this is a shake you must try!
Ingredients
- 2 servings Mint Oreo Truffle Brownies
- 9 scoops mint chocolate chip ice cream (about 1/2 container)
- 2/3 cup milk
- 8 ice cubes
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in a blender and blend to desired consistency, adding more milk if needed (we like our milkshakes thick).
